Cyclone Kyant Getting Weak. No Threat To Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As cyclone Kyant in Bay of Bengal is heading towards Andhra Pradesh coast, it is gradually getting weak. The system is moving at a speed of 6 kmph south -south east and may make landfall at Pongal in Andhra Pradesh on 29th of Oct.

The impact on Andhra Pradesh also would not be much according to the Met Dept as by then the Cyclone would have become weak.

The impact that could be maximum felt in Andhra coast is a wind speed of 50 to 60 kmph. Though there could be rains in some parts of Andhra and Odisha coast.
