Sarathi Baba Granted Bail By Supreme Court

Bhubaneswar/Kendrapara: The Supreme Court on Monday granted bail to self-styled godman Sarathi Baba, who was arrested on August 8 2015 for cheating and other charges. The arrest came days after television channels showed him staying at a Hyderabad hotel with a young medico woman, who allegedly posed as his wife.

The apex court has reportedly granted him bail in the alleged ‘misconduct’ towards the medico girl.

Development Of Agriculture, Farmers Top Priority: Odisha CM

Puri/Khurda: Gracing the state-level ‘Krushak Divas’ programme on the auspicious ‘Akshaya Trititya’ at Laxminarayanpur near Pipili in Puri district on Saturday, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stressed upon development of agriculture and farmers claiming that it has been on the top agenda of his government.

Flanked by Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy the Chief Minister said that the State Government run by him has set up two corpus funds of Rs 100 crore each for seeds and fertilizers while crop loan facility to the farmers has been made available at 1 percent interest.

The Agriculture Minister informed that the State Government is mulling to waive farm loan and make provisions for life insurance of farmers in the State.

Decapitated Head Of Infant Found On Villager’s Verandah In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: In a gruesome incident, a severed head of an infant was discovered in the verandah of a villager in Ranki village under Keonjhar Town PS. The locals raised a furore over this incident.

Japanese Artists Perform On Bollywood Tunes At Bhubaneswar Patha Utsav
